Description
The Treasure Chest is a retail store at the heart of Creekside School. Students are able to purchase items in the store with tokens earned from their classroom reinforcement systems. Student workers have opportunities to work both behind the scenes and in front of/with customers, gaining valuable retail work experience.
The Creekside Café, located within the Treasure Chest, hosts classroom birthday parties and other events. Staff and students can purchase items in the Café, while student workers take orders, serve, and bus tables. This creates a great environment to practice prevocational restaurant and shopping skills.
